Signe Solberg
b. 1985, Oslo)
works with sculpture, installation, and site-specific art.
Her works engage directly with space, architecture, and landscape, creating narratives that evolve and expand over time.
Parts of her works are often reused, reworked, and placed in
new contexts.
The capacity of the body and the visibility of the hands are central to her direct work in metal and other industrial materials, where physical limits are tested.
Monumentality, bodily experience, and the challenge of cultural power structures are recurring themes throughout her practice.
Solberg holds a Master’s degree from the Oslo National
Academy of the Arts.
