GABRIELLA GÖRANSSON
(b.1959, ITALY)

Göransson is a Norwegian-Swedish visual artist working primarily with sculpture, installation, and handmade paper. Her practice explores organic structures and primordial forms, often developed through repetition and modular compositions that create changing, spatial constellations.

Working with paper made from plant fibres and recycled textiles, Göransson embraces the material’s fragility, texture, and unpredictability. Her installations often draw on natural processes of growth, decay, and transformation, creating works that move between delicacy and strength.

She has exhibited extensively in Norway and internationally, including in Sweden, Denmark, Italy, Germany, and Belgium.
