SINDRE BRAATHEN
(b. 1988, Norway)
Oslo-based artist who works primarily with painting, alongside sculpture, charcoal drawing, and silkscreen.
His paintings are characterized by expressive, intuitive brushstrokes and
a playful exploration of form and color within an abstract visual language.
Layering and texture are central to his process, often revealing traces
of paint applied directly from the tube and elements painted over, emphasizing the depth and physicality of the painting process.
Braathen has a degree from Strykejernet Art School
