Artist statement:
For me, photography is both a way to explore the way I move through the world and a means to examine the shared experience of being human. I am drawn to ambiguity and often work with anonymous subjects, focusing less on individual identity and more on the collective and universal. My work moves through themes of vulnerability and strength, intimacy and closeness, tracing the sculptural presence of the human body and its dialogue with the surrounding space.
I work with analog techniques and darkroom practice is central to my process.
