ANNE LÉGER
(b.1966, FRANCE)
is a French-Norwegian artist based in Oslo, working primarily with metal and contemporary jewellery. Her sculptural works combine carefully assembled materials, forms, and textures to create objects that suggest stories and emotional experiences, often balancing playfulness and beauty with more unsettling or serious elements.
Her practice moves between jewellery, sculpture, and installation, exploring contrasts such as darkness and light, fragility and strength.
Léger has exhibited extensively in Norway and internationally, with works presented in Europe, Asia, Australia, and the United States, and her work is represented in collections including the National Museum in Oslo.
She holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Metal and Jewellery Art from the Oslo National Academy of the Arts, as well as a Diplôme National Supérieur d’Expression Plastique from France.
